A reusable checklist for producing accurate Android, app, and phone explainers.
Before publishing or trusting a mobile tech guide, run it through this checklist. It's the same standard Jobloza's own guides aim for.
Source check
Can you verify the key claims from primary sources — the developer's site, official documentation, the Play Store listing? A guide that cites nothing is asking for blind trust.
Freshness check
Android changes yearly. A guide from three years ago may describe menus that no longer exist. Check the publication date and be skeptical of undated "ultimate guides."
Incentive check
Who benefits if you follow this guide? Sponsored recommendations, affiliate links to specific apps, and "download now" buttons are all incentives to discount. Independent guides disclose conflicts; the absence of disclosure is itself information.
Actionability check
After reading, do you know exactly what to tap, in what order? Vague advice ("optimize your settings") without steps is content-shaped filler. Good guides are specific enough to follow with the phone in your hand.
